What made you decide to start your own business?
I come from a family whose values are steeped in hard work and quite a few of them running their own business, so I knew there was an entrepreneurial flare around in the family.  I had always wanted my own business and at the time I started up there was a gap in the market for companies that needed affordable web and software design solutions. Plus, I wanted to do something that I love and work in an area I was passionate about.

What’s been your biggest success in business to date? 
I feel success every time I win a new deal, it’s a great feeling of satisfaction when we get a new client and they are happy with the service EWM provided. From start-ups to very well established brands such as St Andrews University, NHS, Scottish Police Federation, Coca Cola, Tetrapak and premiership football clubs we’ve had a few good wins.

What’s the best business advice you’ve ever been given? 
Think long term so you wont be disappointed if you don’t achieve what you want to do in the short term – it’s a marathon not a sprint.

Which entrepreneur inspires you the most? 
There are so many entrepreneurs out there that are incredibly inspirational and they have the skill to drive their dream to completion. Martha Lane Fox and Natalie Massenet are great female entrepreneurs that come to mind.

Which 3 qualities do you think are most important to have as an entrepreneur? 
You have to be relentlessly driven, adaptable to change and be able to articulate your vision to the people around you so they know you’re passionate about what you want to achieve.

What business tool could you not live without? 
The Internet! There are so many resources out there to help you in business and the internet allows you to have it all at your fingertips.

Why are you an Ambassador for WeDO? 
Sharing knowledge, experience and success with other business owners is vital to keep you motivated. As a business owner, you can’t do everything on your own & having a network of great people around you will give you the inspiration to perform. I want to help members of WeDO achieve that.
