What made you decide to start your own business?
Having a journalist mother who used to take me to some of her interviews with successful business women during school holidays & a father who ran his own building company I always wanted my own business with a very definite proviso of doing so before the age of 30.
What’s been your biggest success in business to date?
Selling my sales & management training company 4 years after setting it up and of course working with the WeDO members and seeing their businesses flourish.
What’s the best business advice you’ve ever been given?
Remain positive, focus on your plan & you can achieve whatever you want.
Which entrepreneur inspires you the most?
All of our members & our Exec team… each & every one of them have great businesses & spending time with them inspires me on a daily basis.
Which 3 qualities do you think are most important to have as an entrepreneur?
Drive, passion and tenacity to keep going when things get tough.
What business tool could you not live without?
My iPad & the numerous Apps that I use – I must be helping Apple to grow their profits!
Why did you decide to start WeDO?
I saw a gap in the SME market for an organisation that would connect like-minded entrepreneurs who could work together to grow their businesses and have some fun along the way.
